Innovision’s technical reports provide both claimants and defendants with objective evidence of the presence (or absence) of brain injuries, thereby reducing the costs and time taken to reach settlements.
Brain injuries are often referred to as the Silent Epidemic because they are both invisible to the eye and yet are the single largest cause of death and disability in age groups 1-40. Diagnosis and treatment remain extremely challenging because standard neuro-radiological tools (CT, MRI, etc) are typically unable to identify evidence of brain injuries in mild TBI and consequently diagnosis is left to the interpretation of the clinical symptoms of those injuries.
Only one scanning device – the Magnetoencephalography scanner – has for over 50 years been able to accurately detect the location and severity of a brain injury with 86%+ accuracy. Already used in every major academic brain centre globally, Innovision is able to process the data using High Performance Computers and proprietary AI, significantly shortening the time it takes to analyse data manually and increasing the accuracy of the analysis.
Further information on brain injuries.Innovision provides for the first time objective proof of internal brain injury by analysis and interpretation of a patient’s pattern of brain waves.
These are recorded non-invasively by the use of powerful MEG scanners and compared with Innovision’s large global normal data sets.
Proprietary software and AI enables Innovision to interpret this data to generate highly accurate maps and reports evidencing, where present, the location and severity of an injury.
Innovision provides a way of objectively assessing the extent and severity of internal brain injury in a patient. This will help in the monitoring of different treatment or management protocols.
Most diagnosis of acquired brain injury is made by an emergency room doctor or by a GP. A decision is normally made based on the self reported statement of the patient and the clinical symptoms present.
Misdiagnosis routinely occurs when MRI and CT scans falsely show the patient’s brain to be normal, even if the patient is demonstrating symptoms indicative of a brain injury.
Innovision’s technical reports provide both claimants and defendants with objective evidence of the presence (or absence) of brain injuries, thereby reducing the costs and time taken to reach settlements.
MEG brain injury maps are so accurate that they are already being used by surgeons in epilepsy hospitals around the world to enable them to remove damaged brain tissues without harming healthy tissues.
Starting this important journey can be a stressful. We have done everything we can to eliminate that stress.
