Approximately half of all acquired brain injuries in the UK result from a single fall in the work place, at home or whilst exercising.
In a large number of such cases patients may not lose consciousness but nevertheless exhibit the signature symptoms of dizziness, loss of memory and headaches and are not treated or scanned. Whilst for the majority – up to 75% – these symptoms will disappear within 3 months – for up to 25% the symptoms will persist and worsen.
Because such injuries are permanent, Innovision is able to locate evidence of them even if they were sustained 20 years previously.
