Serving and Veteran Military Personnel

The Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts established for the first time that up to a third of combatants sustained brain injuries as a result of close proximity to blasts, a condition now described as Operator Syndrome. The US military have since categorised Traumatic Brain Injuries as the “Signature wound” of these conflicts. This diagnosis transformed the previously held belief that soldiers suffering from the symptoms of brain injury were either suffering from psychological disorders or were fabricating their symptoms. Innovision now routinely scans and reports on both serving and former military personnel both to determine the location and severity of those injuries and to assist clinicians in prescribing the appropriate rehabilitation and treatments.
