MEG and MRI Imaging and Reporting service Terms & Conditions

Definitions

Client

A Patient, or agent of a Patient e.g. solicitor or insurance company responsible for payment of the Fee.

Fee

The cost of any and all MEG and MRI Scans performed, including for a report on the MEG scan. The Fee shall be agreed with the Client or agent prior to offering an appointment.

MRI Scan

A series of Magnetic Resonance Imaging sequences performed for the purposes of providing a report relating to a Referral.

MEG Scan

A series of recordings using a magnetoencephalography device performed for the purposes of providing a report relating to a Referral.

Patient

A person, a client of a referrer, referred for an MRI and MEG Scan.

Referral

A referral form, letter or similar signed by a Referrer containing clinical information regarding a patients clinical condition and requesting an MRI & MEG Scan and MEG report.

Referrer

A legal professional, medical or allied health professional who may request MRI and MEG scans intended to obtain a report on the information provided in a report on the MEG data.

Report

A technical report on the MEG scan describing the comparison of the Client’s scan with information from a dataset of scans collected from the normal population

Reporter

An employee of Innovision-IP Ltd who provides a technical report based on MRI and MEG Scans in reference to a Referral.

Innovision-IP shall perform MRI and MEG Scans on Clients for whom a valid Referral from an appropriate Referrer has been received.

Innovision-IP imaging shall provide a technical report produced by a Reporter in response to a Referral by a Referrer.

The report shall be communicated to the Referrer usually within 5 business days of the scans taking place.

The Client or their Referrer shall be responsible for paying to Innovision-IP the Fee which shall be agreed before the Client is offered an appointment.

Where the Client expects a third party to pay for an MRI and MEG Scan and Report, it is the Client’s responsibility to provide Innovision-IP with prior approval from the third party that it will pay the Fee. In the event that the third party does not pay the Fee the Client will become liable for payment of the Fee in full.

Payment of the Fee in full shall usually be made by the Client before the day of the MRI or MEG Scan using one of the following methods:

• Credit/Debit Card

• BACS transfer
